Pomegranates for Rosh Hashna (Sep. 2015)

These pomegranates ornaments where made with the help of my daughters. We made it as presents for Rosh Hashana (Jewish New Year).

We paint the front of the pomegranates with 1 layer of brown acrylic paint, and when it was dried, we paint it with 2 more layers of red acrylic paint.
After the paint dried, we used white glue and cover the pomegranate with red glitter.
I hate when the glitter fall, so I spray it with "Fixative Concentrated".

I made the bows with a great double bow video tutorial.

For the buttons and the charms I used hot glue gun.

Crochet Colorful Scarf

 

When I saw this chart

I immediately went to the store to find yarn. I wanted dark gray, but when I saw the colorful changing yarn, I took it and want back home to crochet this scarf (Length 53.5”/136cm, Width 7”/18cm).

Yarn: Alize Diva silk effect, color 3242, lot 670220, 100% Microfiber Acrylic, 100g ~ 3.52 Oz, 350mt ~ 383 yds.

I used more then 1 skein of yarn.

 

Amigurumi Bunny

 

After making few balls and practicing the basic of Amigurumi, I used this free patten on Lion Brand site.

I sew the ears a little bit far from each other, buy still it looks nice.

Kai, my nephew, is a great fan of soccer. For his 7th birthday we put all his presents in this paper bag.

I searched Google for a printable paper with soccer ball, and used this Paper Gift Bag Tutorial.
